What are the key topics?

Transitioning the Corporate Fleet

The use of vehicles for operational and logistics purposes still forms the backbone of many economic sectors. With increasing regulatory requirements and incentives for decarbonisation, the shift from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles presents significant opportunities, but also complex challenges for corporate fleets.

In addition to the high initial costs of technological change, private and public companies face numerous challenges when switching to electric vehicles. Range anxiety, limited access to fast-charging stations, and the lack of suitable EV models for commercial use are among the most significant obstacles. Moreover, many companies lack reliable data on their fleets, which makes it difficult to plan the electrification process in the first step, and later to properly manage a decarbonised fleet.

Within the RIS Ecomove project, experts support organisations in transforming their fleets, taking into account limitations, strategic priorities, and key drivers of decision-making for the adoption of electric vehicles and renewable energy sources. A private or public organization that joins the RIS ECOMOVE programme will leave it with a framework for scalable, cost-effective, and responsible fleet electrification.

Green Travel Plans

Green travel or mobility plans are packages of practical measures designed to encourage employees to reduce their dependence on cars when travelling for work-related purposes.
The plans are also an effective business management tool that can help reduce organizational costs. In addition to creating a competitive advantage, companies also generate benefits for the environment and employee health, while contributing to the quality of the local transport system. Private companies are not the only ones that should consider adopting Green Mobility Plans. By introducing positive changes in the way employees travel, public companies with a significant number of employees can become leaders in the decarbonisation of urban mobility.

However, what is more important in the long term than simply adopting a plan is ensuring that the plan is updated, implemented, and its effects truly monitored. To be sustainable over a longer period, the plan must provide concrete benefits to the organization itself and to employees, not just to society as a whole. This requires an understanding of behavioural and business factors that promote sustainable travel in the long run.

The RIS ECOMOVE project is designed to – among other things – help private and public organisations identify cost-related and other categories arising from the way their employees travel, whether commuting to and from work or during working hours. Through the project, organizations can receive information and support in preparing a Green Mobility Plan, assessing the impact of its implementation, and promoting sustainable travel initiatives among employees.

We invite you to take the first step towards more sustainable business and a better quality of life for employees.

ESG & Mobility

Sustainable mobility is no longer just an option — it’s an important factor in the ESG performance and sustainability of companies. But how can companies effectively integrate mobility into their ESG strategy and reporting? This course provides employees dealing with ESG the knowledge and tools to understand, apply and evaluate sustainable mobility practises that improve ESG performance.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to measure, report and optimise mobility-related ESG performance while aligning with the company’s sustainability goals.

Whether you’re looking to improve your ESG reporting, reduce carbon emissions or improve mobility policies for your employees, this course will provide you with practical strategies to make mobility sustainable.
