GRINN supports and accelerates the transition to a green economy by driving innovation in energy, waste management, housing, environmental protection, and low-carbon transport.
The cluster’s six key areas of activity include the economy, environmental and nature protection, education, science and research, international cooperation, and sustainable development.
GRINN’s primary goal is to foster collaboration among researchers, local governments, businesses, and industries to enhance the competitiveness of Croatian companies at the European level.
By promoting renewable energy, resource efficiency, and green innovation, GRINN is committed to building a resilient and sustainable ecosystem. Focus of the cluster also aims on research and education activities to address various challenges in green sectors.
Project Aegle Foundation (PAF) is a non-profit organisation based in Malta that has been operating since 2017.
PAF aims to enhance the quality of life and environmental conditions in Malta by driving behavioural change to move away from the car culture. PAF is the local coordinator of the EIT Urban Mobility Hub Malta, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), aimed at providing solutions towards a user-centric, multimodal transport system.
Through research, education, advocacy, and conducting innovative and scalable pilot projects, we provide sustainable mobility solutions and insight. We participate in projects in partnership with local, European, and international organisations, contributing to enhance the role and capacity building of local authorities and private organisations in sustainable mobility planning.
